FlyGuys CEO Joe Stough built one of the world's most widely-used operational excellence software platforms then walked away from it, helped take a food delivery company public on Nasdaq, and is now running a 22,000-pilot drone data marketplace.
In this episode, Joe traces his path from those early lessons in building a company to founding Syntex and its Impact software, which landed ExxonMobil, Shell, and ConocoPhillips as worldwide clients. He breaks down the Interpersonal Technology framework — eight personality styles built on Carl Jung's archetypes — that he credits for turning his most combative business relationships into his strongest ones, and explains why he took over teaching the program himself after his mentor passed away.
Joe also unpacks the leadership lessons he carried from Waitr's hypergrowth years directly into how FlyGuys is architected to scale today.
