Everyone has superpowers and weaknesses — so why do we ask one mentor to fix all of it at once?
The more useful approach: find someone for the exact domain you're trying to grow in, not a single person to hand your whole life over to. And there's a shift that happens once you're on the other side of it, too — "I'm giving them my presence, the greatest gift that we can have."
Mentorship isn't just taking. Sometimes it's the best thing you can give.
